I'm No Angel

Pss. 103: 20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

I’m no Angel

I know that I’m no angel
Least not in the biblical sense
My Light doesn’t come from this world
I suffer no pretense.

The people will see my actions
And all that I convey
I try to be obedient
And serve Him throughout the day.

I know that I’m no angel
I’m a sinner just as you.
I walk amid salvation
My Lord will pull me through.

I know my God is watching
All things I do and say.
He sends to me a lost soul
That I might show the way.

I know that I’m no angel
I don’t profess to be
I only bring a message
Of Light that shines from me.

Heb 13: 2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

I Have to Wonder

Deut. 28: 46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

I Have to Wonder

I have to wonder what path we’re on
For seasons we’ve not seen
The Lord is coming to wipe us out
On satan you cannot lean.

For every incident that happens
We’re all about who is to blame.
I have to wonder why all point fingers
But never at their own shame.

I stand upon a Rock of faith
It never allows me to fall.
I have to wonder why men deceive
Not embracing the beauty of it all.

I have to wonder why idols are built
For demons who cannot save?
I’ll keep my trust in a LIVING God
For promises kept and gave.

My life as a Christian will shine
I want all of the world to see.
My testament of a faithful God
They’ll wonder why I’m so free.

Pss. 40: 5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Pss. 71: 7 I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

Poetry Sunday ~ Tally of Rays

Mark 12: 3 And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

A Tally of Rays

Earthbound glory I feel its touch
Radiance beholden me
Worthwhile fury I know too much
Credence to freely be

Knocking on my fastened door
Besieged my inner plan
Darkened naught forever more
Bequeathed me with its stand

Every facet of the brilliant Light
Beckoned my internal pleas
Constant in its goal to find
I reckon to appease

I shine amid mere mortal beings
Sanctity at its best
A vacancy there no longer exist
Iniquity is laid to rest.

Matt. 4: 16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Quotation Saturday

2 Cor. 8: 7 Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

GRACE

“By judging others we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are just as entitled to as we are.”
~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“Grace doesn't depend on suffering to exist, but where there is suffering you will find grace in many facets and colors.”
~ Wm. Paul Young

“...I want first of all - in fact, as an end to these other desires - to be at peace with myself. I want a singleness of eye, a purity of intention, a central cor to my life that will enable me to carry out these obligations and activities as well as I can. I want, in fact - to borrow from the language of the saints -to live 'in grace' as much of the time as possible. I am not using this term in a strictly theological sense. By grace I mean an inner harmony, essentially spiritual, which can be translated into outward harmony...”
~ Anne Morrow Lindbergh

“Only those who are truly aware of their sin can truly cherish grace.”
~ C.J. Mahaney

BLESSED

“If you find yourself about to complain, think of your many blessings and rejoice! Don't give the devil a ride today, because then he'll want to drive full-time. So, kick his attitude of complaining spirit out of your blessed zone. Don't give the devil NOTHING!!”
~ Anita R. Sneed-Carter

“I feel so blessed to discover that each new day, I have the opportunity to watch the sunrise and fall in love with you again.”
~ Steve Maraboli

“I just always want to be different - THE EXCEPTION - and this weekend knocked me right back to reality. And the reality is - I AM TRULY BLESSED ..”
~ Jon-Robert Holden

“Remind yourself daily that someone somewhere is happy with less than you possess.”
~ Maddy Malhotra

FAITH

“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
~ C.S. Lewis

“Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. It is the belief that God will do what is right.”
~ Max Lucado

“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
~ Corrie ten Boom

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

PRAYER

“The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.”
~ Søren Kierkegaard

“Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one”
~ Bruce Lee

“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.”

Happy New Year to You & ME!

Pic taken from the web

Rom. 8: 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Happy New Year

So starts a New Year for the poet within me. Since my shift in my goals last year from Write Right to Joni’s Muse, I have felt physically better, emotionally better and most importantly spiritually better.

I no longer have any desire to write fiction and my tales of non-fiction are all on display right here for the world to see. I don’t know what came over me but the change has been for the better and I actually FEEL better. That’s what is important to me.

Not that I’m being selfish or anything, I just feel the need in these darkened days to touch people in a different way. Life is not all about writing, the craft and learning new writing skills, at least not for me any more.

There was a time I craved learning the writing craft. I had friends that were all on the same path and we were all walking the same road to knowledge in the field of writing. Something happened and we all journeyed down different roads. I went this way, they went that way and we’re all embarking on different legs in the journey.

Now mind you some are still on the same path together, and they’re happy with that part of never changing just staying on the same path. Me, I’m a rebel, I had to leap off the path and leave some behind because we weren’t headed in the same direction.

As you can read from all of my final posts before the New Year began, I’ve gone the way of a shepherd instead of a sheep. I never did feel right just following along, I always liked the position of being a leader and not a leader among writers either.

And with that change came new friends with the same passion that I have, a love of God. You knew I’d mention Him sooner or later didn’t you? It is amazing to see God work and bring people to me. I definitely feel a pull toward the wholesome path and not a run down rock filled path where the sheep just kick the rocks to the curb and live happily in a rose-colored fog-laden world.

Rom. 12: 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I cannot and will not conform to this world and as many people try to lead me back to the lonely path to nowhere, I will continue down the path I began towards the end of last year, one full of Light and love! I have to, to save possibly others and myself who are tired of idle idols.

I will have opinionated pieces too mixed with all the poetry but like I say, it is MY opinion and not that of others. You can agree, disagree, love it or hate it, but it is just an ‘opinion’ and like eyeballs, everybody has them!

Enjoy the New Year, enjoy the journey you are on at this moment as I am enjoying mine. We don’t all need to be on the same path to be friends but it sure is nice having company.

Also I’d like to add, as my blog came to an almost complete halt; I feared a total crash and burn meaning I was headed in a ‘delete the whole thing’ mood. I came out of the quagmire with a new lease on the blog and I finished the year with 162 total posts in 2013! Already 4 posts in 2014!! Kudos to me for not listening to the inner demons!

Praise be to you know who… GOD!

p.s. Just as an added footnote: I won’t be sharing EVERY post on facebook so please have my page bookmarked for an easy return visit.

Love and blessings, Joni

2 Cor. 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Grain of Sand

Gen. 32: 12 And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

Grain of Sand

While some line up
On the bandwagon of sand
Rolling toward
the hearth to stand.

Warming hands
Beside the fire
All are mounting
The hearts desire.

Grain upon grain
I see the wad
Mounting up
Away from God.

Satan’s here
Always lurking
Finding ways
For evil working.

You jump in
Feet always first
You choose to see
In them their worst.

I praise the Lord
For the choice
To him be the Glory
Of my small voice.

While everyone looks
To the misguided flock.
I’ll stand upon
The Word, my Rock!

Matt. 7: 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Your Sin is Not My Sin

Job 2: 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Your Sin is Not My Sin

Your sin is not my sin
I cannot weather the load.
If I pry my way into heaven
My sins are the one that’s showed.

The vice is worn around your neck
Do you think each one’s forgiven?
While you go through life committing
And try to keep sins hidden?

God sees a lingering crutch in man
Those things you think not bad
He sees the things you seek forgiveness
And the ones that scorched skin had.

We often try to be our own god,
Thinking we have some power
To carry the load of iniquity within
Never giving the bundle a scour.

Your sin is not my sin
I have my own to bear.
I’ll strive to carry Light
When sin is what you wear.

Job 20:11 His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

A New Year ~ 2014

Pss. 65: 11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

A New Year ~ 2014

My eyes shall see tomorrow
For today has gone away
A year that I put in the past
A new one’s come my way.

While others all celebrate
In partying lights galore
I’ll be home in quietness
Your peace for me I adore.

My eyes shall see tomorrow
I’ll face a brand new day.
With sunshine and happiness
That can never go away.

I’ll see the Light forthcoming
And it will shine from me.
Through works and salvation
I taste true purity.

Jer. 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Poetry Sunday ~ The Voice of a Child

Rev. 3: 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

The Voice of a Child

Written many years ago~Joni

A little seed, gently placed, into the hands of time.
Her soul was left amid the blooms in the garden of life sublime.
No one understood her quest and often nor did she.
There she dwelt in a cryptic world where eyes could never see.

Reaching out she uttered words, in hopes someone would hear.
But all alone the resounding truth whispered only to her ear.
She followed the path of righteousness the stones of suffering were lain.
Scattered among the rubble she bravely took the pain.

A force of light it beckoned her; the eden in her mind.
Surrounded by tranquility’s base, with souls so warm and kind.
Firmly standing in the pool of faith while others scoffed and scorned.
No one could see this young girl’s light or the wings that she adorned.

Cutting through, slashing her strength; all thought that she would fall.
Instead she rose above the realm to the place of duties call.
Sheltered within securities cage; no cry was she to mumble.
Awaiting the grace of a healing shield while always remaining humble.

The blessed healing swiftly came; her thirst did not subside.
Spreading her wings, surely to soar; one light her only guide.
Quenching her faithful desire, her pining never to cease.
Freedom stands at her doorstep...she now has gained release!!!

Luke 20: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

* one definition of an angel: a person having qualities generally attributed to an angel, as beauty, purity, or kindliness.

Poetry Sunday ~ A True Christmas Story

Written in 1984 by me. Still holds true to this day! This was my gift to the family.

Job 10: 12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

 A True Christmas Story

A tale was told one Christmas eve,
Tis' better to give than to receive.
But I have no gift, my pockets bare,
I am but a poet, my poem I'll share.
I rose from my bed on Christmas day,
The sun was peeking down where I lay.
I crept down the stairs so I could see,
Had Santa left gifts under my tree?
I wasn't surprised, left unamazed,
I stood at my empty tree and gazed.
No gifts to give, my heart did ache,
But I would go on for Christmas' sake.
I threw on my clothes, rushed out the door,
Just what is all this excitement for?
I have no gifts to give to thee,
No presents were left beneath my tree.
So how can Christmas be happy and gay?
What is the secret that makes this day?
I swung open the door, to my surprise,
My family was sitting before my eyes.
Greetings exchanged, hugs of embrace,
Smiles that lit the entire place.
"We're glad you're here, accept this gift.
Maybe then your spirits will lift."
I saw in their eyes a special glow,
That sunk my heart, and let me know,
That they were giving with deepest love,
For God had signaled from above.
The spirit of Christmas is a radiant gleam,
That shines through the soul, in a warming beam.
I have felt that warmth throughout the year,
By spreading laughter, joy, and cheer.
But a chosen day was set aside,
For all our arms to open wide.
So the gift I give has no ribbons or bows,
I'll give you peace that warms and glows.
I'll tell you I love you, I'll make you smile,
I'll see that your visit was worth the while.
I returned to my house, I plugged in my tree,
There sat a star gazing down at me.
I looked at the star with wondrous sight,
For God had appeared that Christmas night.
I was given the secret of Christmas eve,
Tis' better to give, than to receive.

Do you know what I know?

Acts 5:11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Do you know what I know?

Said the mighty King
to the men on earth
Do you see what I see?
A world, a world
Falling all apart
Taking Jesus out of their heart
Taking Jesus out of their heart.

Said the man to his
God and Mighty King
Do you know what I know?
The earth, the earth
Shivers at the sight
Of your Son who was born on that night
Of your Son who was born on that night

Said the Son to the
People He died for.
Do you hear what I hear?
The sound, the sound
Echoes in the land
Of a voice who knows not where they stand
Of a voice who knows not where they stand

Said the King to the people down below
Listen to what I say
I will come and catch you unaware
Listen to what I say
The child, the child, that you brush aside
He will come once again you can’t hide.
He will come once again you can’t hide!

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

I'm Not Too Blind to See

Romans 14:12 'So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.'

I’m Not Too Blind to See

Man has eyes set on worldly things
I’m not too blind to see.
He roams around looking to find
others like him that agree.

He finds the wrongs then compares
I’m not too blind to see.
Man is lost; his pride beset
by a hate-filled anger spree.

Given free will we make a choice
I’m not too blind to see.
I choose to bow my head and pray
Outrage is not for me.

Silence is not an obvious route
I’m not too blind to see.
But I will not give satan
one ounce of strength from me!

There are fools among the crowd
I’m not too blind to see.
I’ll choose love any day
over animosity.

Prov. 14:15-16 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

Winter Peace

1 Cor. 16:6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

Winter Peace

A blanket of snow covers the ground
for all of the world to see.
I relish every moment
a flake falls down on me.

I see life through different eyes
while everyone is distracted.
Things slow down to a seconds pace
with many lives impacted.

The sounds are all amplified
through the overlay of snow.
Allowing you to hear the wind
breaking the trees bough.

People clothed in scarves and gloves
their boots protect their feet.
But often times people dress
for a fashionista retreat.

The multitude of masses
dress for outward show.
Would they dare robe themselves
for the God that we all know?

I don’t care for my skin to wrinkle
and wither from the sun.
I only care my actions please
the Great and Mighty One.

I’ll wear winter in my heart
All throughout the year.
And fill every single day
With the peace of Christmas cheer!

Job 13: 5 O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

Color me weird

Ruth 2: 10 Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?

When I wake in the morning and my feet touch the floor, I thank the Lord for allowing me this given day. As I saunter in to make my coffee, words of praise form in my head and I begin humming a praise tune.

When I take my dog out in the chill of the morning while the sky is alight with a full moon, I praise Him for all He has created. I see Him in the stars, the moon, the universe and thank Him for creating me.

I await my coffee to end its brewing time. I sit at my computer and begin prayers for those in need. I have never been short on prayer because each time my windowed world opens, there sits someone in need of prayer. I pray.

With a warm cup in my hands I sit and share love and praise and thank Him for placing the right people at the right time in my life. There is never a shortage of prayer needs. Even when people seem to be smiling and laughing it up, my mind hones in on them and I pray. For behind a smile is a heart; a heart that is in need of prayer as much as anyone else.

In my travels throughout the day, if someone cuts me off in traffic, I raise my hand and say, “I’ll pray for you” because I know in my heart that that person is in such a hurry and has so much on his/her mind they might forget that God is in control. They need prayer not a cursing too.

While shopping in the hustle and bustle of the season, I see people nickel-and-diming it to make ends meet and possibly trying to have a good Christmas. I pray for them while standing at the checkout. Color me weird.

People color me weird because I can’t take my eyes off of God. Sure I have bad moments, yes I hurt and get angry, I’m human but in the midst of one of those instances, God is there reassuring me that He’s got this and that I’m loved and in that moment I’m comforted.

The very essence of being a Christian is not taking your eyes off of God; even when you’re scrounging to pay the heating bill. Even when life is so hard it doesn’t have the color of richness that makes you want to go on. That is when you need God the most to carry you.

Christmas is the season where satan rears his tentacles and tries with everything he has to reach people; to make them feel unworthy, unappreciated, unloved and most of all not able to reach God. It is in these moments that God reaches in effortlessly and gets you through a season for man. Believers and unbelievers alike feel His presence. They might see it in the beauty of nature, they might feel it in a hug or warm well-wishers hand, but they FEEL God touching of them.

Pss. 44: 20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;

As church seats fill up during the Christmas season, more and more come to know the Glory of the Lord and for this reason God has allowed man to celebrate the birth of His Son on December 25th. When the season ends, people go back to the same old same old pagan traditions and forget what it was that touched them during the Christmas season.

Some will cling to that feeling like a snow-blanket hugging the ground. They will rise every morning thanking Him for yet another glorious day to be alive. They will begin each day in praise and worship and end the day in prayer and thankfulness. And people everywhere will…color them weird. I bow my head and pray!

Pss.69: 8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

Luke 1: 64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.

Poetry Sunday ~ I was weeping...

John 19:25-26 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

I was weeping…

There were some who placed Him on the cross;
while others pulled His linen to toss.
Some were poking spears in his side
while women below were weeping and cried.

I was weeping.

Men were standing there mocking Him
some laughed and scoffed as His eyes grew dim.
Wails could be heard all across the way
as God put an end to the longest day.

I was wailing.

Some contend He was a guilty man
but only God knew his master plan.
Carried off to a cold empty tomb,
women followed; their faces bore gloom.

I was full of gloom.

In three days she came looking for
a Man that laid in the tomb no more.
Run and tell men to praise and sing
The Lord has risen, our Savior and King!

I was singing!

While many stood in disbelief
there were some who felt great relief.
Not all men nailed Him to that cross
Some people wept and felt the loss.

I was weeping.

Matt. 28:5-9 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Quotation Saturday

TRUTH

“The truth does not change according to our ability to stomach it.”
~ Flannery O'Connor

“Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”
~ Fyodor Dostoyevsky

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first.”
~ Jim Morrison

“Most men would rather deny a hard truth than face it.”
~ George R.R. Martin

SPIRIT

“There is a light in this world, a healing spirit more powerful than any darkness we may encounter. We sometimes lose sight of this force when there is suffering, too much pain. Then suddenly, the spirit will emerge through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call and answer in extraordinary ways.”
~ Mother Teresa

“My soul doth magnify the Lord,
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.”
~ Mary (mother of Jesus)

“We must become so alone, so utterly alone, that we withdraw into our innermost self. It is a way of bitter suffering. But then our solitude is overcome, we are no longer alone, for we find that our innermost self is the spirit, that it is God, the indivisible. And suddenly we find ourselves in the midst of the world, yet undisturbed by its multiplicity, for our innermost soul we know ourselves to be one with all being.”
~ Hermann Hesse

“My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind.”
~ Albert Einstein

 HOLIDAYS

“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!”
~ Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

“How many observe Christ's birthday! How few, His precepts!”
~ Benjamin Franklin

“This, after all, was the month in which families began tightening and closing and sealing; from Thanksgiving to the New Year, everybody's world contracted, day by day, into the microcosmic single festive household, each with its own rituals and obsessions, rules and dreams. You didn't feel you could call people. They didn't feel they could phone you. How does one cry for help from these seasonal prisons?”
~ Zadie Smith

Snowflakes swirl down gently in the deep blue haze beyond the window. The outside world is a dream.
Inside, the fireplace is brightly lit, and the Yule log crackles with orange and crimson sparks.

There’s a steaming mug in your hands, warming your fingers.

There’s a friend seated across from you in the cozy chair, warming your heart.

There is mystery unfolding.”
~ Vera Nazarian

“The silent night takes on a whisper of God that only we hear during the bells chiming at Christmas.”
~ Joni Zipp

Nailed for You

1 Tim 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Nailed for You

My nails they drip with blood
The pain will never end
I feel no one is listening
To messages I send.

The hustle and hurried world
Goes on without a care,
Ranting about the moment
In the media blitz they share.

Gossip crawls along the floor
Then slowly up the wall
Clinging to the idle ones
I slowly watch them fall.

Was death not enough for them
Were miracles a game?
Are blessings things that they seek
On a whim in my name?

While claiming that they look to me
They’re often caught unaware
Of falling in the pit to hell
Crying out that life’s unfair.

A voice was not given you
To babble like a brook.
Life was freely given
So it’s me to whom you look.

Wasted seasons spent
On anger that you spew
Withered moments now all gone;
Away from me you drew.

The time to call is not at death
Embrace me while you’re living.
To each and every one of you
My blood is well worth giving.

Col. 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

A Message to Convey

1 John 1: 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

A Message to Convey

I rise up in the morning

What to do today?

Lord you’ve given life to me

Please tell me what to say.

The words they flow like currents

Of energy in my soul.

God places on my heart

Some words to make you whole.

The rhyme is always easy

The rhythm soon to follow.

I fill your heart with messages

The truth is hard to swallow.

The world is full of hatred

Your anger feeds the flame.

Satan’s very happy

That you help him play the game.

Demons linger the hollow street

That man will never see

People become too busy

You’ve asked them not to flee.

By allowing anger free reign

You diminish your own light.

You’ll never know peace within

Diminished is your sight.

He’s asked me to convey.

Give to Him all Glory

On bended knee to pray.

1 John 3: 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
